One thing I realized I did wrong was I put the citrix.cer in the wrong place
before I tarred it. I should have put it in
"/opt/ica-client-12/keystore/cacerts" then tarred it and put it in "
opt/openthinclient/default/data/nfs/root/opt/custom/packages".

So now that I did that I get a different error. I get "Citrix SSL server is
not accepting connections". I know my server is accepting permissions from any
windows computer I use and I have about 20 free licenses, so that can't be it.

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply! I could still use a little clarity. My apologies.

I converted my citrix.cer to a pem file by doing "sudo openssl x509 -inform der
-in citrix.cer -out citrix.pem.

Then I did "sudo c_rehash
/opt/openthinclient/server/default/data/nfs/root/opt/ica-client-12/keystore/cacerts"
and that created 2 additional files.

I then did "sudo tar -czvf citrix.tar.gz
/opt/openthinclient/server/default/data/nfs/root/opt/ica-client-12/keystore/cacerts"

I then moved the citrix.tar.gz to
/opt/openthinclient/default/data/nfs/root/opt/custom/packages.

Rebooted my thinclient and still received the same error (61).

Did I miss a step?

Thanks for your help!

Folks!

Let's enlight this more detailed. Copying your certs in to
openthinclient\server\default\data\nfs\root\custom\packages is not sufficent.

- Your certs need to be in pem format.
- You need to c_rehash your keystore.
- c_rehash insists to get unix-linefeeded input files, or it will do nothing.
- If you have a self signed cert, you may need to import your own CA too.

Regards, Jörn
