Hi, we're experimenting with openthinclient running on Atom and i5 based boxes, like Assus EEEtop & EEEbox (Atom N240, N270, Intel GMA 950 graphics) and newest Intel's NUC family (Atom E3815, i5-54250, with Integrated Intel GMA). WE really love it! everything is there, and runs smoothly, with the exeption of Video File & Streaming Play: frames are only a few/sec (4-6 ?) and the experience is really bad. We tried both play with on-client SW (embedded browser & media player) and over terminal connection to remote VDI (rdesktop, PCoIP, etc.). It's not a networking issue.... it seems to be a matter of Graphic local acceleration ignored.
There's a way to get advantage of Intel GMA graphics drivers published on Intel's site? https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads How can I integrate them in the openthinclient appliance "Consus"?
