The problem is that tftp is udp and the settings on the router will only affect
tcp traffic. There is a small negotiation between the server and client to
determine the packet size. It will negotiate to around 1468 which is too big.
With a tftp daemon, I would be able to set the tftp options in the tftpd-hpa
config file. But I can't find the equivalent for the java based tftp server.
The server is using java 7.

I'm trying to PXE boot clients across a vpn. The issue that I'm running into
is that the client is negotiating a block size of 1454 so that the packet will
get fragmented by the router. It will not work. Since open thin client uses
the java tftp server, I cannot find a place to change the option to less than
that to allow the download of the files. Does anyone know where I would be
able to change the settings?
