I can remember that pages too, but I can' find them now.

For a first step, you can connect to your openthinclient server through http://server.ip:8080 with java 1.6 or 1.7 installed and launch client application.

The default password for connecting to realm is: 0pen%TC  (first is a zero)

The thin client must be configured to boot from lan. I use cheap and old dell gx 260 without hard disk.

Then, let thin client try to boot, and you'll see in client application, on PXE clients. From here you can configure it, and go an step further.

Note: I'm using version 1 of openthinclient, and have tried pales and consus version, witch lacks multiple options and applications. It seems a beta product, and I'd recomend installing a prior version from jar file
java -jar openthinclient-1.1-ceres.jar for example.

Maybe someone here can tell us if pales version it a beta, and why I'm missing options (for example in desktop application)?

Hi,

there is a wiki of openhinclient…

http://wiki.openthinclient.org

As far I can remeber there was also an english version (OT updates their wiki software).

Maybe Alexander Stecher can make a statement.

Best regards

Jan
