Hi Bernd,
thanks for your hint with the "install" section. Please try to think as
a normal user, go to openthinclient.org und try to find a way to get to
that "install" section. I found the downloadlink and a link to the wiki
and faq. But that install section is not easy to find. Perhaps it could
be a good idea to put this to the faq or wiki.
the hardware is
IGEL 564 LX thinclient
Hope you have an idea to fix this.

section in our appliance download section where it is already documented.

There you can also download old appliances. (Ceres 1.1 or Consus 2.0)
Please note that we don’t support these versions anymore.
Regarding your flickering issue with Pales
What kind of graphic card / ThinClient hardware do you use?
If all possible I would suggest that you open a bug report on Github.

The old installers likely won’t help since they don’t run with current
Java 8 versions.

ok i found the password by try and error. It's "openthinclient"
after starting my client. i found it in pxe-clients. configured
everything. same error as on the windows server. Stripes in the middle
of the screen.
