I am trying to use an ELO Graphics touch screen on Pales and am having
trouble finding how to calibrate it within the client environment. I would
think there would be a "device" that could be assigned to the client to
handle this, but there doesn't appear to be, and there is nothing built
into the client OS image to support it.
I found some old documentation referencing EVTouch (which I had to use
the wayback
machine
<https://web.archive.org/web/20120421061839/http://openthinclient.org/touchscreen>
to see), but that isn't on the client image (or isn't anymore). That, and
I need the calibration data to be retained when the client restarts, which
again makes be think it should be a server-assigned device (since my
clients have Home in RAM).
Any suggestions?
The touchscreen registers on the client as:
ID 04e7:0050 Elo TouchSystems 2216 AccuTouch Touchmonitor Interface
A driver to use?
A .conf file for the /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.g directory?
Am I even going down the right path here!? :-)
Thanks for the help!
