All the open thin clients I have configured had the device “Monitor:
1024x768@75” set, which was fine for the various monitor sizes connecting to
citrix sessions. However, recently users want to carry out a feature that isn’t
possible running that resolution. I changed the device on the thin client
configuration for that particular client to be 1280x1024@75. After passing the
logon screen, the thin client screen that has the ica connector looks to be in
1280x1024, but when it then automatically launches a citrix session, the
resolution on the Windows server is 1024x768 still.
Other connection to citrix (say via my laptop for example) automatically pick
up the resolution from the client you are connecting from, so can’t see it
being a citrix issue.
I am wondering if there is a setting I’m missing that needs to be set, and it’s
not just enough to change the device?
