After successfully testing in lab environment, I am trying to integrate Openthinclient with our 2016 Active Directory. Forest and Domain functional levels are 2008 R2. Following the wiki I added the AD as a secondary directory in the realm configuration. The users and groups populate, however when logging on to thinclient, it reports incorrect password entered.
I see you can put the secondary directory in the location configurations as well. Can someone explain purpose. I didn't configure in lab environment and have not found any information in the wiki about requirements. I've found through google, a few people have reported same problem (although not recently!!), logging on after configuring secondary directory, who later report it just magically starts to work. Manager is hosted on Ubuntu 16.04. During troubleshooting I've also update the packages so now run the following. tcos-devices 2.1-13 tcos-libs 2.1-24.3 tcos-license 2.1-7 tcos-scripts 2.1-31.0.1 Any advice much appreciated. The endgame is to rollout Single Sign On.
