Let me first introduce myself: my name is Werner and I'm new to this
mailing list.
I bought my Go 520 last week and I want to do more with it, than just
navigating.
Now I'm trying to write my 1st application for it, but I already got
stuck in the beginning.
The application should run on top of the latest Tomtom kernel.
The opentom wiki pages are mostly out of date and I'm not sure, which
infos still apply.
I tried to run HelloGhoti on 8.302 (tt244890) with no success, but it
works fine with 7.481.
What are beside the sdkregistry menu issue the differences between 7.x
and 8.3 ?
I found a posting from Jean-Claude in the archive, which states that
/dev/ts does not work in 8.3 anymore.
What should I use instead? What should I consider when writing for 8.*?
Is there any sample code available other than HelloGhoti?
I'm looking for a higher level UI layer with button and text widgets.
A complete UI Toolkit like FLTK, Qtopia, etc. might be an overkill.
