Hi to all, I am new to this mailing list. Hope this is the right place to ask, even if my questions are a bit general (and maybe even off-topic).
I should interface a TomTom with the external world (usb/serial/...) to retrieve some custom data in real-time (polled every few seconds). After that I should be able to create custom point-of-interest on the fly on the map. I was investigating the use of the SDK, but I have not understood if it is still compatible with current devices. Then I found this OpenTom project and thought it would be able to resolve at least the communication problem. Can you please give me some hints on the issue I'll have to face? What are the possible options? Commercial SDK/open-source SDK? Many thanks for your support. Best regards, Giulio Mazzoleni -- Dott. Giulio Mazzoleni Digital Instruments S.r.l.
