Hi, Marc. I tried to compile Navit but failed hopelessly. My results are documented on the navit page within the opentom wiki. However someone posted in a Navit forum that he tried torun it on a Tomtom. It seems like he had more success than I had, still then he could not get going. Till date I have not managed to get in touch with him. So the answer is 'yes' although Imay not be a real help to you.
