Elliott Sound Products has a bunch of good articles, although not PCB specific
http://sound.westhost.com/articles.htm Here are some titles under Design Guidelines: Amplifier Design - ESP's contribution to the everlasting debate 09 Jun 01 Current Sources, Sinks & Mirrors - A discussion on these much misunderstood circuits 19 Feb 01 Heatsinks - An article on heatsink selection, transistor mounting and thermal transfer principles 12 Feb 01 Noise in Audio Amplifiers - An explanation of noise figures, and how circuit noise is calculated 29 Jan 00 Linear Power Supply Design - Formerly part of amp design, and greatly expanded in scope and detail 03 Mar 01 Variable Impedance Amplifiers - How you can control the output impedance of a power amp 22 Apr 00 Transistor Matching Tests - Matching Bipolars or MOSFETs for critical amplifier applications Searching on mixed signal design may give you some good info. I've been working on a telephone product so learning a lot about this. What we've found - don't put ground planes under low level audio traces, use balanced signals as much as possible, have a separate analog and digital plane area. I've searched extensively but haven't found much, except to follow basic analog design procedures. Thanks, Frank Langlois Project Development P.O.
