Hello,

The OpenVAS developers are happy to announce the first maintenance
release of the Greenbone Security Assistant (GSA) 4.0 module for the
Open Vulnerability Assessment System release 6 (OpenVAS-6). It is the
web client that makes the full feature set of OpenVAS Manager available
in a web browser.

This release fixes a number of issues which were discovered after the
release of Greenbone Security Assistant 4.0.0. For details please refer
to the list below.

Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to this release:
Matthew Mundell and Michael Wiegand.

Main changes since 4.0.0:
* A bug which caused targets and scan configs to be lost when editing
  tasks has been fixed.
* A number of broken internal links inside the online help have been
  fixed.
* A bug which caused alerts to be ignored when creating tasks has been
  fixed.
* A bug which selected the delta report functionality when a report
  was deleted has been fixed.
* The documentation of the result powerfilter has been improved.

The source tarball for this release along with checksums and signatures
is available for download from the OpenVAS website at
http://www.openvas.org/. Binary packages for major GNU/Linux
distributions by third parties are expected in the following weeks.

Regards,

Michael Wiegand
