Dear Greenbone/OpenVAS users, the OpenVAS release 8 has reached its end-of-life and the Greenbone/OpenVAS team plans to discontinue support for this release in five months from now at August, 27th 2018.
If you still use OpenVAS-8, please take all measures to upgrade to OpenVAS-9 during the next 5 months. However, we just published a final release series of OpenVAS-8 to help for the last phase with various bug-fixes and improvements. Important: After retirement of release 8, the Greenbone Community Feed will not be fully compatible anymore with this release! The Feed will be opened to NVTs that use new functionality introduced with the successor release and likely cause errors when used with deprecated releases.
