I am currently trying to create a python lib that will connect to the openvas/nessus server to do va scans. And all is well.. I can connected and actually run scans.. but for some reason when I set the preferences up and send them to the server it doesn't take my settings..
when I build my preferences to send the server..it doesn't use any of my preferences. Such as .. CLIENT <|> PREFRENCES port_range<|>default max_hosts<|>5 <|> CLIENT It still uses what was set in the nessusd.conf file and not what I sent it to use. Any help will be grately apprciated.
