Hi,
with the new release of openvas-plugins (0.9.1) there is a sync script
for NVTs (see http://www.openvas.org/nvt-feeds.html).
Since it would be not much fun without a NVT Feed Service,
I created a simple one under rsync://rsync.openvas.org:/nvt-feed
and filled it with all nasl and inc files necessary
to run Debian Local security checks.
Furthermore all these files are signed.
I've tested the feed and it works for me.
However, we need a lot more testing on this.
Next, please let me know if you like to have this
implemented in a different way.
Also: Currently myself and Bernhard Herzog have access to
this feed. There is no update policy yet, so I would
add occasionally do updates while repairing other NVT groups/families.
I am open to any proposal on other policies. And of course
anyone of the core team may get access, provided the
project coordinators are OK with it. BTW: Are you OK with me
and Bernhard?
