Just to clarify: It was nmap_tcp_connect that was removed, *not* nmap_wrapper.
The functionality provided by nmap_wrapper (namely nmap scans) still remains,
it was just the inactive functionality provided by nmap_tcp_connect that had
already be incorporated into nmap.nasl (according to chandra) and was now
redundant there.

This means no actual functionality was removed; unless we are planning on
restoring the functionality provided by nmap_tcp_connect as a .c plugin, I
would suggest that nmap_tcp_connect can safely be removed.

Is this okay with you?

Regards,

  Michael
