Hello,
I wonder what the NASL variables and Global settings "report_verbosity"
and "log_vebosity" are good for.
(They are defined in openvas-plugins/scripts/global_settings.inc
and used in various NASL scripts)
Apparently they are meant to reduce the report volume.
To me this looks like a broken concept, because any NASL script
has to add consideration in a correct way instead of solving
this in a central place.
IMHO we should find more legant ways to reduce report volume (if
necessary at all) rather than continue this inherited concept.
Any opinions, comments?
Best
Jan
