Just an FYI... I deployed the first customer version of my OpenVAS virtual appliance last week. So far so good. It is built on a SUSE Enterprise Linux JeOS base. I also added fping for simple host discovery. I know other folks have done this kind of thing, but I figure the data would be helpful.
