Whatever solution we seek here, imho it is important to communicate the case where execution of an NVT was stopped due to a timeout. Atm this can only be found out by looking at the logs and only if a certain config element is set to yes (log_whole_attack, i think). I think sending a log or debug message to the client would be the easiest solution, using the mechanisms that are already there. I looked into it a while ago and failed to do so, though. -- felix -- Felix Wolfsteller | ++49 541 335083-783 | http://www.intevation.de/ PGP Key: 39DE0100 Intevation GmbH, Neuer Graben 17, 49074 Osnabrück | AG Osnabrück, HR B 18998 Geschäftsführer: Frank Koormann, Bernhard Reiter, Dr. Jan-Oliver Wagner _______________________________________________ Openvas-devel mailing list Openvas-devel@wald.intevation.org http://lists.wald.intevation.org/mailman/listinfo/openvas-devel
