Initial Comment:
I have two problems…

I installed greenbone-security-assistant-1.0.2, and gsa-desktop-0.3.0

They both connect to openvas-scanner-3.1.0 through openvas-manager-1.0.2

I also have openvas-administrator-0.9.0 installed.

1. The first problem I am having is that when I try to run a scan from GSA
or GSA Desktop, the status is “REQUESTED” almost indefinitely. eventually I
will have one say it is done, maybe a day later, but when I try to down load
the pdf report it is an unreadable 0 byte file. Is it suposed to tell you when
it starts the scan?
I have no trouble at all running a scan directly from the openvas client on the
server itself.
2. Second problem is when I try to do an administrative task like looking
at user accounts I am given the error “Only users given the Administrator role
may access User Administration.”
I understand the need for an administrator role, but I so far have not seen
where I add this role. I have looked for documentation on how to add this, but
I have so far been unsuccessful in finding it. I have looked at adding it
within the openvas-adduser script, but the only role I see there is restricting
which ranges can be scanned. Also, I wasn’t sure this is where GSA would be
looking for this role anyway.
