Hi Shang,

I didn't have any problems with openvas-libraries. I'm running on the latest trunk so maybe some problems are already sorted out there.

There is a bunch of libssh related stuff in the CMakeList.txt of openvas-libraries (trunk version) which should take care of including/linking libssh. Maybe you can try the trunk version and see if it compiles now.

I had to remove -Werror on some parts as Jens stated before (http://seclists.org/openvas/2012/q2/91).

Hope this helps

Christian

Dear Christian:

I'm trying to install openvas library(5.0.1) from source on ubuntu
12.04(also tried other versions like 11.10, 11.04, etc), and I got
similar libssh undefined errors as well. Can you give me some hint how
to apply your patch to it? I installed libssh-4 and libssh-dev using
apt-get, but they don't solve the problem. Once again I have problem
installing the library not the scanner, I guess your method can apply
similarly, but I don't know how. Thanks.

cheers,
Shang
