Hello Erdem, I think you should be able to scan using RHSA plugins by editing /etc/redhat-release to point to RedHat Enterprise Linux.
About the CESA based plugins for CentOS 6, we'll add the coverage hopefully by next week. Thanks, Chandra. www.scaprepo.com -----Original Message----- From: Openvas-discuss [mailto:openvas-discuss-boun...@wald.intevation.org] On Behalf Of Erdem Bayer Sent: Friday, July 27, 2012 4:21 PM To: openvas-disc...@wald.intevation.org; openvas-devel@wald.intevation.org Subject: [Openvas-discuss] CESA or RHSA plugins for CentOS6 Hi there First of all, sorry for the cross-posting to both lists. Are there any plugins for openvas to check recent RHSAs and CESAs for CentOS6? As far as I see, there are no cesa plugins newer than December 2011 and RHSA plugins require the os detection to be /cpe:/o:redhat:enterprise_linux, hence they do not check the system even if I modify the gather-package-list.nasl to detect the os as centos6. Thanks in advance Kind Regards Erdem Bayer _______________________________________________ Openvas-discuss mailing list openvas-disc...@wald.intevation.org http://lists.wald.intevation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openvas-discuss ----- No virus found in this message.
