Werner,

This is great! Headache of maintaining ssh_func.inc will be gone with this.
Appreciate the contribution and we'll test this, need to make sure the
current NVT's work as usual.

Chandra.

Subject: [Openvas-devel] New libssh based code part 1

Hi!

I just committed the first part of my changes to make use of libssh for all
usages of ssh with NASL. It is not ready for use but the framework should
allow to easily switch to the new code. If you want to test it out, you
need to build with libssh 0.5, which will be part of Wheezy, and set the
environment variable OPENVAS_USE_LIBSSH to any value.
ssh_func.inc will then divert operations to the new code.

The advantage of the new code is that we support all standard ssh algorithm
now (ie. not only Blowfish, DSA, and RSA).

My next step is to add public key authentication and some helper functions.
Please complain if there is a regression and you did _not_ set
OPENVAS_USE_LIBSSH.

Salam-Shalom,

   Werner
