Hi, yesterday I finally committed some ideas we have discussed ages ago. Basically, the meta data are not kept in memory anymore by Scanner. If some data is required, it is retrieved from the cache, which is currently the cache directory with the nvti files.
I've done several scans and observed the very same results as before. But it would be nice to get more feedback. Please let me know how your scans behave when using trunk. Please have a look at the mem consumption of the several scanner processes.
