with the new patch I can't reproduce the problem either.
Although I build and installed in the same way.
So I guess it was my fault with conflict resolving.

What occured to me while playing with the patch and doing a first scan:

- If I don't have a redis running, it would be better to have
  scanner to simply produce a error message when asked to run a scan
  and stop the scan.

- I used redis 2.6 but used the lib from Debian 7.
  This appeared to be no problem.

- I ran a authenticated scan against localhost and it is was mostly the same
  result as with trunk scanner. Differences were about ssh-based stuff
  but might be due to some other aspects.

- "keys *" via redis-client showed only a single
  1) "OpenVAS.__GlobalDBIndex"
  during the scan. I am not familiar with redis though.

- It looked like the redis-based scan took twice the time than current
  trunk but that might have been influenced by other factors.
