I haven't tested the Ubuntu 8.10 packages yet, so I can only guess. If possible, could you answer the following questions: - Is the user directory created, i.e. does /var/lib/openvas/users/<username> exist? - Which client version are you using? The client packaged by Ubuntu (1.0.4) is not compatible with the server packaged by Ubuntu. - Does the command "df" take very long in your environment?
