The script you mentioned was broken in the openvas-plugins 1.0.6 release and made both client and server cache unusable in some circumstances. The following steps will solve this issue: 1) Shut down openvasd. 2) Update your NVT collection by executing "openvas-nvt-sync" 3) Delete the server cache. (/var/cache/openvas/*) 4) Delete the client cache. (~/.openvas_nvt_cache and openvas_nvt_cache in the tasks/scopes beneath ~/.openvas/) 5) Start openvasd. 6) Connect to the server using the GUI or CLI client.
