Just some random items that might help:

Currently, OpenVAS Manager offers some predefined reporting.
It is planned to make this more generic and flexible.
First experiments are released with the beta5 where two XSL-T scripts
are dropped in a certain place to allow download of transformed reports.
Maybe this can be extended in some way.

At any time you can download the XML report from OpenVAS Manager and
do your own analysis, reporting.

Report "diff's" is on our roadmap for OpenVAS Manager.

Experts might run SQL select statements against the internal database
but this isn't meant to be an end-user feature.

Based on real-world needs we are open to extend the reporting features,
so it is always very helpful to receive details on what would help
OpenVAS users in terms of reporting.
That said, we know already a number of features to add and it takes
simply time|budget to implement them. So, please be a little
bit patient with our progress.

Al the best

        Jan
