[Openvas-discuss] openvasmd doesn't run after update

I just updated to SVN 8806. When starting openvasmd i get (expected) errors indicating that database has to be updated: md main:MESSAGE:2010-08-15 07h31.18 utc:27250: init_manage: database version of database: 21 md main:MESSAGE:2010-08-15 07h31.18 utc:27250: init_manage: database version supported by manager: 23 md main:CRITICAL:2010-08-15 07h31.18 utc:27250: update_or_rebuild_nvt_cache: database is wrong version
But openvasmd --update and openvasmd --rebuild don't work as they produce the same error messages. So i decided to build a completely new database by removing old tasks.db and executing openvasmd --rebuild. At this point openvasmd cannot run any more.
