Hi there, It's been a long time since I posted anything here but now I have a problem. I had a Debian "Lenny" on which OpenVAS was working fine. Then I upgraded to Debian "Squeeze" and forgot all about OpenVAS. Today morning, I did an nvt- sync and started OpenVAS which gave me an error as below.
rcws-vivek:/opt/openvas/sbin# ./openvasd Loading the OpenVAS plugins...[10125]() gpgme_new failed: User defined source 1/Unknown error code Segmentation fault Looking into syslog gives: Aug 24 10:27:45 rcws-vivek kernel: [84271.984456] openvasd[10182]: segfault at 3c ip b76ec767 sp bf87afc0 error 4 in libgpgme.so.11.7.0[b76ce000+2c000] Has anyone seen this before? Is there anything I can do or should I remove OpenVAS and install it again? Has anyone used OpenVAS on Squeeze? Thanks for any help in advance.
