Every scan I run outputs an empty report. After digging around in the log files, it looks like hosts are always reported as dead.
I installed OpenVAS 3.1 on Ubuntu 10.04 from the OBS repository. The log and dump files are below: /var/log/openvas/openvassd.messages: [Sun Sep 12 22:05:00 2010][4467] user natan starts a new scan. Target(s) : localhost, with max_hosts = 20 and max_checks = 4 [Sun Sep 12 22:05:00 2010][4467] user natan : testing 127.0.0.1 (::ffff:127.0.0.1) [4483] [Sun Sep 12 22:05:01 2010][4483] user natan : The remote host (127.0.0.1) is dead [Sun Sep 12 22:05:01 2010][4490] SIGSEGV occured !
