I am using omp and trying to get OpenVAS working on an OpenVZ container. I came
across a post that said that nmap doesn't really work very well when scanning
from within a container. That put a doubt in my head if OpenVAS would respond
the way nmap does. Because I know OpenVAS uses nmap plugins for port scanning.
Has anyone had issues with this? Can someone please let me know the
implications of running OpenVAS from a VZ container?
