Hi,

I just installed openvas in Centos 5.8 using Atomic repo.

It sort of running okay but there are a few errors that is bugging me.

1) when I click on NVT feed to update NVT, I get error
Internal error: get_feed_oap:904

An internal error occurred while getting the feed. The current list of feeds is not available. Diagnostics: Failure to receive response from administrator daemon.

Also, in the terminal windows of my CentOS, I see:
ad admin:ERROR:/builddir/build/BUILD/openvas-administrator-1.2.0/src/admin.c:875:openvas_get_sync_script_description: assertion failed: (*description)


2) This error keep popping up in linux terminal:
Failed to receive data: A TLS packet with unexpected length was received.
Failed to send data: Resource temporarily unavailable
Error: received handshake message out of context

3) Checking of openvas installation produced warning as below:
[root@rs-openvas etc]# openvas-check-setup --server

How do I install alien? Is that important?

I have tried googling around but found no solution for these problems.

Appreciate any input on this.
