Is it then known to compile and run sanely on squeeze?

The OBS packages are listed on the OpenVAS website as defective. But then,
bad OBS packages seem to result from stuff that doesn't compile right by
default (which OBS builds AFAIK blindly attempt). So I'm hoping someone can
say: This particular Debian iteration, compile and you're golden; or change
these particular compilation flags, compile and you're good.
