Hello OpenVAS users,

I'd be very interested to find out how many users of the old GTK-based
OpenVAS-Client we still have.

Please reply on-list (preferred as it might interest the community in general)
or off-list (if you prefer this) to the following questions in case you are
using
OpenVAS-Client:

 * Do you use it as GUI or for command line?

 * If command line, do you use it in batch processes?

 * Which OpenVAS major release are you using in conjunction
   with your OpenVAS-Client?

 * Is OpenVAS-Client critical for your activities/processes?

 * Are you planning to replace OpenVAS-Client by something else anyway?

Your answers will help developers to judge about whether it makes any sense
to spend effort into OpenVAS-Client (apart from the problem that we currently do
not have any developers who could do so). This tool hasn't received attention
for quite
some time now and, depending on the feedback, we might want to move it into the
attic.
(Any modern OpenVAS client tool uses OMP via OpenVAS Manager instead of directly
talking to the OpenVAS Scanner)

All the best

Jan
