OS is Backtrack 5 r3. I followed the instructions in this link http://www.backtrack-linux.org/wiki/index.php/OpenVas to setup openvas and greenbone. The only thing I did different was I used my IP address instead of the loopback address. If I try to connect to the web interface (greenbone security assistant) I receive a login failed error. If I login with the greenbone security desktop it works. Does anyone have any ideas? I have spent hours trying to find a solution. Thanks,
