1) I can't hook up to the IRC channel either. There might be a way to do it through a browser I think through here http://client00.chat.mibbit.com/?server=irc.oftc.net&channel=%23openvas , but my experience I didn't get a lot of help, in fact I haven't seen anyone actually chat for a while .
2) search mailing list for libmicrohttpd for the https problem. You might need to downgrade the libmicrohttpd from 10.x to 9.1.14 or something 3) I can't open up the pdf either on openvas 5 , do you get anything in the logs? Try checking out the logs of gsad.log 4)What OS are you using ? I think in most cases you'll just run opnevassd from /usr/sbin or one of the system directories 5) use sqlite 王风军 wrote: > Hi, > As a lover of openvas, I try to build and install the openvas6. > Although the openvas can scan, It still have some questions because of > my compiling technology and configration method, I met with some > questions as follows: > 1, It's likely that I can't use the IRC chat tool to chat with the > community members, I couldn't connect to the IRC server with the special > link.
