i have the same currently on CentOS6 with Atomic packages

this was installed before christmas and tests with manual start
of the scans was successful, after that i removed all tasks, targets
and so on and configured all from scratch with scanning ANY UDP/TCP port

the autoscans on Jan 1st did run, prodcued 11 GHz CPU-Load on
the ESXi host but treat is "None" and no useful results or
open ports - nobody knows what was done in hours of high CPU load

BTW:
why can you not start tasks with a schedule manually in the latest
GSA versions? you can still not change anything in defined tasks
nad targets - i can not say that openVAS did work fine for me in
any case of the last 13 months
