I'm using the latest stable versions from the list on the website http://openvas.org/install-source.html

The SVN paths are:
https://svn.wald.intevation.org/svn/openvas/tags/openvas-libraries-release-5.0.4
https://svn.wald.intevation.org/svn/openvas/tags/openvas-administrator-release-1.2.1
https://svn.wald.intevation.org/svn/openvas/tags/openvas-scanner-release-3.3.1
https://svn.wald.intevation.org/svn/openvas/tags/openvas-manager-release-3.0.5
https://svn.wald.intevation.org/svn/openvas/tags/openvas-cli-release-1.1.5
https://svn.wald.intevation.org/svn/openvas/tags/gsa-release-3.0.3

Just did a testrun with my script and everything downloaded fine from svn and compiled without errors. Works fine here, we scan a couple thousand IPs each week. Aside from occasional problems when retrieving very large results from slaves everything works as intended.

Hi, Ryan Schulze,
You told me that "I currently only use the stable tags with a few cherrypicked stuff from trunk", the sourcecode was downloaded from the openvas SVN? the code you built could word well? if ok, can you tell me the mainly modules of openvas versions? or how can i get the same source code that can work well?
      thank you,
best regards

    Hi,Ryan Schulze,
I will try again, and tell you the result.
now, the openvas can scan, and it also can generate the result
file, but no finding threat, only having 8 log.
    best regards
