Thanks for the quick reply, but adding --wget dint help. Hope you have gone
through the attached screenshot in my previous message. I am getting error
about the missing shared library as mentioned in the previous message. I
have not started openvassd yet and I think it should be started later.

I am also getting cannot create directory. For that I read
http://lists.wald.intevation.org/pipermail/openvas-discuss/2010-March/001663.html
and
I get the mktemp: too few X's in template `openvas-nvt-sync' error
mentioned there. I am not able to find SYNC_TMP_DIR variable.

Anyone went through this error. Please help.
