root is the only user with permissions to access most of the checks
(which is the case w/ all point-level and compliance scanners).
I'd test to see which, but as you can see from previous emails, OpenVAS
6 doesn't compile cleanly and I haven't had a chance to debug it myself.
This includes the famous issue:
ERROR: The number of NVTs in the OpenVAS Manager database is too low.
FIX: Make sure OpenVAS Scanner is running with an up-to-date NVT
collection and run 'openvasmd --rebuild'.
in which 'openvasmd --rebuild' (along with other hacks) doesn't fix.
