Dear all: I was trying to compile openvas-administrator recently but I had some problem, and I saw that it was actually merged into manger in trunk, so I downloaded the manager from trunk. After I installed the manager in the trunk I use following command to create first user:
openvasmd --first-user=test Initially the manager reports with 'failed to create user'. I checked the log and found that it was missing password policy. So I downloaded the openvas-administrator in trunk and copy the pwpolicy.conf file into the system. Then I ran above command again, and this time it creates successfully the admin user. However, it also assigned me a random password that is not easy to memorize. My question is how am I able to change this password? Also, it is possible to remove this user? Thanks.
