Hello OpenVAS Users, we observed a rapidly increasing load on the OpenVAS Feed Server. This is partly due to more users using the SCAP and CERT Feeds and of course due to a increasing number of OpenVAS users in general.
Our bandwith was sufficient, but the server was out of memory due to the high number of concurrent connections and started paging which made it real slow. We now doubled the RAM and hope this will prevent the slow-down for some time. We apologize for any inconvenience due to the reboot that we had to execute to get the server back to work with more RAM.
