hey guys,

i apologize if this has been discussed, however i am at a loss and
google search does not return much love on my searches.

here is my problem with my openvas/greenbone installation, which used
to work but out of the blue is not working now:

when i login to greenbone, as admin or regular user, everything is
working except when i am trying to add new target and feel in all info
hit button "add target" webpage simply hangs, never return any error
or anything like that.

in the past, adding targets was not an issue.

i have preformed upgrades to latest version of openvas and greenbone,
however same story with gui and adding target.

thanks a bunch guys,

if i need to provide you more info on os/openvas versions please let me know.

Kiryl

Hi Kiryl,

Do your log files contain any useful information ? Does the "omp" command-line utility work with no issues ?

Regards,

Hani.

Hani,

i would like to confirm that omp tool works perfectly fine on the command line

as of logs
openvasmd.log

but i am able to see in gui targets that were entered in the past or via command line.

this does seem to be related to gui greenbone only. To rule out SELinux i have set it to pemrissive mode, but problem exists. Tried different browsers same story.

Thank you
