According to the netstat output in your log the openvas manager (openvasmd) is up and running, everything should be fine. It would seem your start script is having problems determinig if the process is running or not (in my experience with openvas often related to the script not waiting long enough for the pidfile to be created or a wrong path to the pidfile).

Did you have problems logging into the web interface or using the cli tool?

Hello,

The check script says my install seems ok, but the startup sequence fails on the openvas manager, which receives an error each time. Log is attached. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you

Peter
