We have made a PHP client in a project, and it's quite easy using OMP
protocol (v4.0 in our case). Basically:
// 1. Connect:
$context = stream_context_create();
$fp = stream_socket_client('ssl://'.$host.':'.$port, $errno, $errstr, 30,
STREAM_CLIENT_CONNECT, $context);
// 2. Send command and receive response:
fwrite($fp, "<get_version/>");
$res='';
do {
$res.=$buf=fread($fp, 8192);
} while(strlen($buf)==8192);
// 3. Do whatever you want with the response. You should check the status
of the response.
print($res);
// 4. Disconnect:
fclose($fp);
