Dear All I am new to openvas and it is happening to me that for some reason the system is not letting me to log-in through the web interface. I have found at the log file openvassd.messages that seems to be problems with the certificate I generated at the moment of the the tool set-up: [Thu Jun 5 11:26:17 2014][1519] [1519] The certificate has expired[Thu Jun 5 11:26:17 2014][1519] [1519] The certificate is invalid[Thu Jun 5 11:26:17 2014][1522] [1522] failed to verify the peer certificate:[Thu Jun 5 11:26:17 2014][1522] [1522] The certificate has expired[Thu Jun 5 11:26:17 2014][1522] [1522] The certificate is invalid[Thu Jun 5 12:13:55 2014][900] received the TERM signal[Thu Jun 5 14:48:14 2014][895] openvassd 3.4.0 started[Thu Jun 5 14:52:08 2014][1479] [1479] failed to verify the peer certificate:[Thu Jun 5 14:52:08 2014][1479] [1479] The certificate has expired[Thu Jun 5 14:52:08 2014][1479] [1479] The certificate is invalid
What should I do? Should I need to generate a new server certificate through command openvas-mkcert ? Then should I need to generate the client certificate and rebuild the database ?? I will need to do this frequently in order to keep the web interface allowing me to log-in ? Or there is another problem in my openvas installation ? Any help will be very appreciated. Best Regards Cristian
