I have been loading OpenVAS at boot-time (Ubuntu server 14.04) by having these
lines in my /etc/rc.local file:

/etc/init.d/openvas-scanner start
/etc/init.d/openvas-manager rebuild
/etc/init.d/openvas-manager start
/etc/init.d/openvas-administrator start
/etc/init.d/greenbone-security-assistant start

If I don't have the "rebuild" line I get an ERROR when the "start" line
executes.
The rebuild takes SEVERAL minutes and after the computer is completely booted
and all components are started, an additional "rebuild" takes only 20 seconds
or so.
I did try leaving out of the rc.local file and just manually executed each
one...If I don't execute the "rebuild" I get the same ERROR.

Am I doing something wrong? Info appreciated.
