Hi all,

The reason for asking this question was that I was confused as to what the
'Period' means and how the Scan Schedule looked like after I created it.

As you can see in the schedule below that I created, the First Run is set to
the same date as the Next Run, this confused me.

But judging from Phil's comment the 'Next Run' will be updated after the run is
done, so I'll check back tomorrow.

Thanks again for your help, appreciate it.

Hi

First create the credentials if needed

Then create your target with network you wish to scan. And add the credentials

Create a schedule with a period of 1 month. Set a start time for the first run.

Then when you create the task select the appropriate target and schedule

It will then auto adjust the next run one month out after the scan completes

Regards

Phil

Hi all,

I've started playing with OpenVAS, and am trying to create a monthly scan
schedule a specific network.

I am wondering if anybody here can give me some pointers on how to do this
within the interface?
